new year, new habit

Just finished what’s available of Fake Slackers. Super charming & frequently updated. It’s a very relaxed, slice-of-life, type of read; the kind of thing where you’re 30 chapters in and going ‘omg their fingers touched!!!’ There’s some potential angst hovering in the background, but it’s not a prominent factor so far.

Currently reading Don’t Pick Up Boyfriends From the Trash Bin which I’m enjoying very much. The main character is a delight, case in point:

Chi Xiaochi stopped the car at the red light and smiled slightly, “You have to admit, making people recognise that they’re in the wrong and wholeheartedly regret their actions isn’t an easy task.”

061 nodded.

Before, he hadn’t had a single host who was able to fill up the regret level without paying with their lives.

Chi Xiaochi said, “In that case, it’s much easier just making him regret ever meeting me.”

I LOVE HIM.
